Parbrook Walk by Thakeham in Billingshurst

Parbrook Walk is a collection of classically designed 2 & 3 bedroom houses set around a courtyard in Billingshurst, West Sussex. The development was hugely successful with our site manager, Roger Bennett, winning a NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work at Parbrook Walk.

Our new homes at Parbrook Walk are now sold and residents are enjoying all that this Sussex village has to offer. With a recently refurbished High Street, shopping is a pleasure in Billingshurst – everyday essentials are within easy reach and there are gift shops and independent boutiques for something a little different. When you are ready for a break, local produce can be sampled in the cafés, restaurants and pubs. The local countryside is ideal for walking, with many bridleways and footpaths.

The countryside was a huge pull for one couple who bought at Parbrook Walk, you can read their testimonial below.

A great location

Billingshurst lies on the junction of the A29 and the A272 which provide direct links to Petworth, Petersfield, Haywards Heath, Pulborough and Bognor Regis. Its mainline station offers direct travel to London Victoria, Bognor Regis and Chichester. Travelling via road to larger surrounding towns and cities is convenient using the local road network, so trips to Guildford, Crawley, Chichester, Haslemere and nearby Horsham are within easy reach.

Billingshurst Village

The High Street is set on one of the longest straight roads in Sussex and the coaching inn is one of the oldest buildings in the village. Set in the heart of the Sussex Weald, in beautiful countryside, the village has a conservation area at its centre and many beautiful period buildings.

The High Street offers local shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs and the village enjoys a friendly community. There is a popular leisure centre with swimming pool, community library, park and various sports clubs from bowls to cricket to tennis.

Billingshurst has more to offer than the average village, with opportunities for activities including bird watching at Southwater Country Park, play areas for children at Fishers Farm, and picturesque walks at Warnham Nature Reserve.

Great Days Out

Fishers Farm is a great day out with a selection of indoor and outdoor activities including soft play areas, ‘meet the animals’, tractor, pony and barrel bug rides, climbing wall, jumping pillows and playground areas.

Warnham Nature Reserve offers a peaceful haven for over 200 species of wild plants and trees and over 150 species of birds. The reserve and bird hides are accessible, with boardwalks around wet areas of the site.

Southwater Country Park is a local country park with a circular lakeside walk, wildlife areas, a dinosaur themed children’s play area and café with views of the lake. Orienteering courses and tuition in canoeing, sailing and windsurfing are all available. The adjacent Downs Link bridleway passes through the park and the café is popular with walkers, families and cyclists.
